Jaipur Udaipur Jaisalmer Itinerary: 8-Day Royal Rajasthan Plan

Here is an easy day-by-day plan for covering Jaipur, Udaipur and Jaisalmer in 8 days from Delhi. Timings can be adjusted to your group.

Day 1: Delhi to Jaipur

Drive to Jaipur (about 5 to 6 hours), check in and relax. Evening at a local market for bandhej, jootis and jewellery.

Day 2: Jaipur sightseeing

Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal photo stop, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Jaipur is easy to cover in one full day.

Day 3 to 4: Jaipur to Udaipur

A long drive of around 6 to 7 hours. Next day, see City Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari and take a Lake Pichola boat ride in the evening. Jag Mandir can be visited when boat services allow.

Day 5 to 6: Udaipur to Jaisalmer

This is the longest travel day, so start early. Next day, explore Jaisalmer Fort and Patwon Ki Haveli, then head to Sam Sand Dunes for sunset and a desert safari.

Day 7 to 8: Return

After a relaxed morning, begin the return journey to Delhi. Overnight halts on the way keep the drive comfortable.
